Race for the Cure

My sister Zann is this awesome nurse with the cutest kids you could ever imagine. Her family is raising money for the Susan G. Koman Foundation that supports finding a cure for breast cancer. They have done lots of awesome fundraising events including putting flamingos all over people's lawns and even selling t-shirts designed by yours truly.

She wanted to mimic the milk slogan and it is fitting considering she has a set of twins herself. Twin children that is, and freakishly cute ones.

Adorable no? My sis Zann in her new shirt

Anyways, the reason why I am posting is that you should all visit her website Got Twins and donate to help find a cure for cancer. You can buy a shirt, get your house flocked (if you live in Missouri) or just give a paypal donation. It's a good thing, as Martha would say :)

Chalk is my new favorite medium

Image from Three Winks Studio

So I made this sign last month--no two months ago--(gasp has it already been that long?) for my brother B's wedding. I had some good help from my teacher man painting it various shades of pink and threw on some chalkboard paint in the middle for kicks.

I acquired this beautiful photo thanks to Stacy at Three Winks Studio. She is an awesome photographer/friend that did my bro's wedding pics. I feel another obsession coming on. This time based on old fashioned signage and chalk.
For example:

These are all by artist Dana Tamanachi.
Anyone in SLC looking for a new sign? I would like some practice...

I want to Gogh to London

Does this wall remind you of anything?
Here have a second look:

How about this:

I love the National Gallery in London and now they just decided to up my initial veneration by doing cool stuff like installing a wall of plants to mimic the well known painting "A Wheatfield with Cypresses" by crowd favorite, Van Gogh.

It's true I adore them

Just a tiny clip/teaser of Savoir Adore's "We Talk Like Machines"
You would download their album In The Wooded Forest now if you knew what was good for ya.
