Have I mentioned I am obsessed with scooters?
These are some images I created for a friend to make T's and buttons from a month or so ago. I love how they turned out and it's seriously feeding my desire for a Vespa. Oh please someone just gift me one already :)

Now that's a good way to die
Portrait created from 13,138 dice
Found via Man Made DIY, blogger Chris Gardner explains it best himself:
Subversive artist and designer Tobias Wong died last summer, at the young age of 35. Or, 13,138 days. To celebrate his friend, artist Fredrick Swain created Die, a portrait of Wong using 13,138 dice. He says, "The idea of a die itself was appropriate—the randomness of life. It felt like [a medium] he would use. Because [Tobias] was a very street-level force, I thought it was appropriate [to install] the portrait on the floor. Its not something I wanted to suspend on the wall; I wanted it to be right there on the floor where you almost interact with it.The idea of every decision you make and everything you've done in your life, defines who you are. All of those days symbolically makes up the image of Tobi."
No freakin' way. People are so awesome and creative. Let the die puns ensue!

A Print Guide for Designers
Just stumbled upon this print guide from today and I couldn't buy it fast enough. Plus it was only $10 with shipping. How many times have I wished this guide was in existence?
Designers you can thank me later. With Cafe Rio or ginormous racks of ribs with scrumptious homemade sauce like 3-D aficionado Michael Hoopes gives me. Just sayin. Found via Design Crush.

I think it is turning out fabulously thanks to web designer Brandon Beeks. He is fabulous to work with if you need a web-man and we definitely needed an upgrade. I will post the link as soon as it is totally up and running. He also did my friend Mike's website, who runs Lucha Shoes... Check it out if you need some new kicks.
I also designed this:

My letterpress biz got into the Salt Lake City Farmer's Market so we (Shannon Petty, Kristine Knight, and I) are furiously designing new things to print. I'll be posting those as they are produced... so y'all can get excited to come visit us EVERY Saturday from June 11 - Octoberish and buy locally crafted hand printed letterpressed paper goods along with t-shirts, jewelry, and handmade books.
